Emily recently celebrated her 4th birthday! I can't believe my little princess is 4 now, it seems like just yesterday she was a little baby and I was kissing and cuddling and just being in awe of the beautiful masterpiece God created. Well lets face it nothing has changed. I still kiss her and cuddle her. (she loves it too!) As I have watched her grow up I continue to thank God for the beautiful masterpiece he created. She is such an incredible kid, I get complements everywhere I go about how awesome and well behaved she is. We were just at the doctor and he said to me, "I wish ALL my patients were just like her, she just makes your heart smile!" I am so blessed and I want the VERY BEST in life for her. I have being thinking about life and enjoy all the little moments and not let it just fly right by me all the time. We are so busy with the day to day activities that sometimes I think we forget to stop and smell the roses. I am going to work at enjoying the little moments in life more often. I want to teach my daughter that life is worth living and living well! My friend posted this as her status the other day - "Life is an occasion, rise to it!" So that is my new found anthem I guess. I don't want life to just happen, I want to MAKE life happen! I too want to be the type of person that makes someones heart smile! How about you?
